Drive-in racking is a high-density pallet-storage direction for operations holding larger quantities across fewer SKUs. The forklift enters the storage lane, reducing the number of separate access aisles required.

Heavy duty storage racking is intended for large, heavy, bulky or awkward goods that require adjustable shelf levels and practical direct access.

A useful warehouse racking assessment begins with accurate information about the building, goods and handling method. A quotation based only on floor area or an approximate number of rack bays may miss important operational requirements.

The objective should not be to choose the system with the highest theoretical density. It should be to achieve a workable balance between storage capacity, stock accessibility, handling efficiency and the inventory profile.
Unused clear height can sometimes provide additional storage capacity without increasing the building footprint. The appropriate direction depends on whether you need additional rack levels, multi-level manual picking or a separate elevated floor.
Multi-tier racking can create accessible picking levels for suitable goods, while a steel structure platform provides a different solution when an elevated open floor is required.
